Social media, live footage from the conference hall, news and other pieces: From 1 to 3 February 2013, the Munich Security Conference will be offering information on the event for the public in a number of different ways.

Today, over 400 prominent decision-makers in security policy as well as other stakeholders meet at the hotel Bayerischer Hof. Besides U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, more than 90 high-ranking delegations from all over the world, a dozen heads of state and government, about 60 foreign and defense ministers as members of parliament will be discussing key issues of foreign and security policy at the 49th Munich Security Conference (MSC), with around 700 accredited media representatives covering the event live.


The interested public may choose from a number of options to get a comprehensive idea of the conference panels. The Bayerischer Rundfunk and the Deutsche Welle will stream live almost all the panel discussions (The direct link to those will be provided through once the conference starts. The button can be found on the front page to the right of the photo slider). Subsequently, our media library will feature clips and summaries of those debates that have not been broadcast live.
