On the eve of the NATO summit, the European Defence Roundtable will bring together a small group of senior decision makers in order to debate the summit's key topics in a private, off-the-record setting. What do the decisions taken in Warsaw mean? What should NATO's future policy towards Russia look like? How can European countries cooperate more closely on the planning, development and procurement of military capabilities? What does the Brexit referendum mean for the future of European defense cooperation? These and other questions will be at the heart of the event, which is organized by the MSC with support of Leonardo and will see Leonardo CEO Mauro Moretti address the roundtable's plenary.

Participants also include several Foreign and Defence Ministers from Northern and Eastern Europe, other CEOs as well as senior NATO leaders.

From 30 June to 2 July, 70 former participants of the Munich Young Leaders program came together in Warsaw for their annual alumni reunion. The event was co-hosted with the Körber Foundation and offered a platform for mutual exchange on current security challenges ahead of the NATO summit. The participants also met with high-ranking political decision-makers.
